The Making of ORI Struts
ORI Struts is catching local attention in Georgia news. The story highlights how Mark and Marie Jensen turned their off-road hobby into a business. ORI Struts now employs 16 employees to keep up with the flood of orders from all around the world. In 1984 Mark built his first sand rail with independent suspension. “I found that the weakest part of the sand rail was stability,” he said. “I came up with the idea for a strut to cure the problem and got a patent on it.”
Line Mountain Race with THOR Motorports Buggy
We ran the Line Mountain race for the first time last weekend. The changes to the struts that Mark walked me through have made a massive difference in the truck! Now that I have a better understanding of the inner workings I am sure I can continue to make small changes and only get faster. Since we put 2 on the rear trailing arms they really seem to attract a lot of attention and people have a lot more questions.
